I solved my issue using something like this; https://forum.aspose.com/t/insert-bracode-image-in-mailmerge-aspos-word/62080
but I had to make some changes. Mainly, I had to covert the stream to a byte array. Otherwise the code was giving an error. And it would be helpful if in your documentation you mentioned how the fields in a datatable tied to the word template. Also, with the naming of the image merge field, I named mine Image:ZipImage. That naming is not allowed, it should have been Image:Zip. I put a break in the code to see if it was in the handler class, the break was not executed, that I know not of why.
But after all, I am happy that I am successful in getting it to work.
