Inserting RTF into Template Pleading Document

I have tried to insert RTF into my pleading document (.dot) with no luck. It will work sometimes if a i use a bookmark in the header only text in the header (1/5 of the page) is filled out. If i copy and paste then the first page of the document doesnt have the pleading numbers but the rest of the document does.


Has anyone done this.
