Hello we are getting this error when utilizing the tool in our production environment.

I see there is a hotfix in 5.1 but I wanted to know what the root cause in case there is another work around we can do that does not involve upgrading our production environment.

I’m sorry to share with you that this sort of issues are usually caused due to the particular structure or contents of the PDF file. And in order to overcome such kind of issues, we need to cater the particular scenarios in the newer versions. I’m afraid, we’re unable to suggest any workaround. However, I would recommend you to try the latest version at your end and see if it helps in your scenario as well.

If you still find the same issue then please share the particular problematic PDF file with us, so we could investigate it in detail.

I have tested this issue using the latest version (5.7.0) of Aspose.Pdf.Kit and the [merged version Aspose.Pdf for .NET 6.0.0](https://blog.aspose.com/2011/07/01/first-version-of-merged-aspose.pdf-for-.net-is-now-available-for-download). I couldn’t reproduce this issue at my end. Could you please try using the latest version at your end as well and see if it helps. If it still doesn’t resolve your issue then please do let us know.
