Issue with Image while using Mail merge

I am generating a document using mail merge. However, I am facing problem while displaying the image in doc file. We have an image in the form of base64 as well as HTML(with the link) to show the image in the generated document file. Moreover, the issue with base64 is uncertain: sometimes, it displays the image properly and sometimes it fails to display the image. In addition, the image link always fails to display the image in the generated document file

Please help me out to solve this issue.
