Launching Microsoft Excel

Hi

Can you please tell me if it is possible to use ASPOSE.cells to launch Microsoft Excel with either an xls file on disk or in a MemoryStream?

Hi Alan,

Are you talking about that you want to start an MS Excel instance to display an xls file? Aspose.Cells doesn't utilize MS Excel and it can be used in winform and webform applications. So it can read an xls file and import its data but it cannot to launch an MS Excel window.

However, it's easy to make it with .NET code:

Process.Start("c:\\book1.xls");
