Legend Shape Count

Is there a way to get the shape names and count from the Legend shape?

I’d like to extract the number of items in a diagram to use for building a quote. We have many hundreds of shapes, which is growing weekly, and it would be very easy to build a quote direct from the Legend shape information.

In addition to the above reply of my colleague Nayyer, please refer to this code example: Extract Plain Text from the Visio Diagram Page. This code example iterates through the each shape and retrieves its text. You will discard the retrieval of text, get the shape name and the set count index into the code. Please let us know in case of any further assistance or query.
