I been using a licensed(Digitally signed) aspose.cells dll in my organization. But recently to support some of the latest Excel features, we are planning to upgrade the aspose to latest 8.3 or later versions.
Currently i took the evaluation DLL from aspose.com site and corrected all the obsolete classes and functions, but we are facing a licenese issue now. Could someone help me to solve this problem.
How can i get the digitally signed latest DLL, to solve the license error.?
The subscription included in this license allows free upgrades until 04 Mar
2010, but this version of the product was released on 26 Jan 2015. Please renew
the subscription or use a previous version of the product.
The error you have mentioned is due to the reason that you are probably using your older license with latest releases of the API. Please note, the license subscription allows you to upgrade the API to any version that was released within the duration of one year. This duration was ended on 4th of March 2010 therefore in order to upgrade the API to latest releases or 8.3.0, you have to renew your license subscription. We will send a new license file, that you may set in your application.
we have version 8.1.0 on our server and application will use higher version than the installed one does that create any issue when we host the application on server?
Please note, your subscription was expired on 4th of March 2010, so you cannot use newer versions unless you upgrade your subscription and get an new license to use it. If you have later versions with you, kindly do check its release date (e.g one way is right click on the Aspose.Cells.dll and click Properties to check its release date, etc.). Now if the release date of the version is greater than the your subscription expiry date (i.e., 4th of March 2010), then you cannot use it.
