Linkage error

Hi,

I am running apose.slides 1.8.6.0 on WebSphere Portal 6.0 using JDK 1.4.
While creating a new presentation:

Presentation pres = new Presentation(new FileInputStream(reportsFile));

I get a linkage error:

Could not invoke the service() method on servlet IpsoFacto. Exception thrown : java.lang.LinkageError: LinkageError while defining class: com.aspose.slides.Presentation

Could not be defined due to: (com/aspose/slides/Presentation) bad major version at offset=6

Does anyone know what could go wrong?
