Hello support,
WNP-482.zip (82.6 KB)
e’ve noticed that when we handle pptx files that contains linked images, those images are not managed properly and the output is different with different file formats (PDF and PPTX).
Here’s what we done:
1-created a simple pptx with powerpoint, made 3 pages (slides)
2-in first slide we’ve embedded an image (classic way)
3-in second slide we’ve insert a link to the image file (insert -> picture -> (on save) use slide menu on save button and select “link to file”)
3-in third slide we’ve used the “insert and link” function in image upload
4-we replaced the red flower pic with a blue flower pic, using the same filename “flower_red.png”
5-we saved this file (Original.pptx) and ran the attached application.
The expected result are two documents (pptx, pdf) with a red flower in the first slide and a blue flower on second and third slide.
The effective result are:
1 - the PDF file (Version.pdf) is without the second image and with the wrong flower in the third page
2 - the PPTX file (Copied.pptx) contains the right image in the second slide but the wrong one in the third slide.
