Hello,
I’ve tried to save a vsdx in html and pdf, but some colors are missing in my output file.
I’m using Aspose.Diagram version 24.1.0.
In attachment the code and document I’ve used.
element.zip (329.3 KB)
In my solution, I see there are some errors in getting the culture, 1036 is not known value for culture, because the culture want a name (ex : fr-FR) and not a LCID (ex : 1036).
The main problem is once a save of a file like this one is done, all similar files (same name for shapes, …) will have the problem too, even if they weren’t “corrupted”.
I guess it must have some cache somewhere that cause that, because if I restart my application, the problem is gone for the working files.
When I save again the vsdx, the problem is gone, but only some times, it’s not consistent as a solution.
I don’t have always the possibility to correct the files that have this problem, so it would be better if it would save correctly the file in html or pdf.
Thank you, best regards

It seems that you are experiencing issues with color preservation when saving VSDX files to HTML or PDF formats using Aspose.Diagram version 24.1.0. This is a known issue where the colors of shapes may not be retained in the output files.
Here are a few suggestions to help you troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:
-
Update to the Latest Version: Ensure that you are using the latest version of Aspose.Diagram. Sometimes, bugs are fixed in newer releases, and updating might resolve your issue.
-
Check for Known Issues: Review the release notes or forums for any known issues related to color preservation in the version you are using. There may be specific workarounds or fixes provided by the Aspose team.
-
Clear Cache: Since you mentioned that restarting your application temporarily resolves the issue, it might be beneficial to implement a cache-clearing mechanism in your application. This could help in ensuring that any cached data does not interfere with the saving process.
-
Culture Settings: You noted an issue with culture settings (LCID vs. culture name). Make sure that you are using the correct culture format when setting up your application. This could potentially affect how colors are interpreted and rendered.
-
Test with Different Files: If possible, test with different VSDX files to see if the issue is consistent across all files or specific to certain ones. This might help in identifying if the problem is with the files themselves or the saving process.
-
Contact Support: If the problem persists, consider reaching out to Aspose support with detailed information about your issue, including the specific files you are working with and the code you are using. They may provide more targeted assistance.
If you have any further questions or need additional help, feel free to ask!
Already done all those solutions, none have worked.
Thanks
