Lost of fidelity when converting PDF to DOCX

Hello,

We are having enormous lost of fidelity when converting PDF file to DOCX. Here’s an example of a file we are trying to convert that have this issue.PreviewTest_1MB.pdf (1.0 MB)

When converting the word spacing and the number of pages is getting messed up. How can we fix this?

@d.gerard
We have opened the following new ticket(s) in our internal issue tracking system and will deliver their fixes according to the terms mentioned in Free Support Policies.

Issue ID(s): WORDSNET-25721

You can obtain Paid Support Services if you need support on a priority basis, along with the direct access to our Paid Support management team.

Also, please note, Aspose.Words is designed to work with MS Word documents. MS Word documents are flow documents and they have structure very similar to Aspose.Words Document Object Model. On the other hand PDF documents are fixed page format documents . While loading PDF document, Aspose.Words converts Fixed Page Document structure into the Flow Document Object Model. Unfortunately, such conversion does not guaranty 100% fidelity.

Where can we track that issue?

Also, we already have the license for Aspose.Words and Aspose.Pdf. What should we do to obtain the paid support services?

@d.gerard You can track the issue status here in this thread you can see it’s status at the bottom of the page.

You can contact our sales team in Aspose.Purchase forum to consult about obtaining paid support services.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as WORDSNET-25721) have been fixed in this Aspose.Words for .NET 23.10 update also available on NuGet.
