Mail merging fixed tables and dynamic data

Hi,
I have a document template that has a fixed table to display certain data, the data for this table is dynamic and will often not contain the fixed amount of rows in the template table.
Is it possible to display this data without needing the ‘fixed size template table’ and still display as a table with borders etc? Or is there a way without having to programatically alter the template tables?
