Mailmerge Charts- or convert Charts to images/streams

I have a need to dynamically add charts in to a document as merge fields. After looking through the documentation, there doesn’t appear to be an easy way to do this with “native” Word charts. I then considered converting the chart in to an image via an in-memory stream, and then in to the word document as an image.

Would it be possible for you to generate some simple code for me that allows for either of the 2 scenarios above, please?
