MailMerge.ExecuteWithRegions and DataSet

Hi
I’m creating a new Word document using Words and MailMerge.ExecuteWithRegions. As an example I have a Word document with the following in it:

«TableStart:tableClaims»

Claim
Date
Cover Type
Amount Paid
Details

«TableEnd:tableClaims»

I pass in a dataset containing a table called tableClaims which contains two rows of data. If I bind a datagrid to this dataset it correctly displays the two rows of data. When I pass the dataset to the Words function it merges, however while it correctly repeats the table twice, it only populates it with the first row of data. So I end up with output like:

Claim
Date 25/05/2006
Cover Type 3
Amount Paid 500
Details mat dam
Claim
Date 25/05/2006
Cover Type 3
Amount Paid 500
Details mat dam

Very frustrating. Any help would be gratefully received.

Thanks for reporting this issue to us. Please zip and attach two files: document template and xml file containing the data you are merging. To serialize your DataSet to xml you can use dataSet.WriteXml(filename) method. I will then be able to research and fix the issue.

Thanks for providing additional info. I can see that in your template the merge field is called ClaimsDate. And in the data file the corresponding data field in tableClaims table is called Date. After I have corrected this everything worked ok. See the attached result file.
