Maven Versioning of releases

Why does Aspose not follow proper versioning standard for maven jars ? It would be nice if Aspose in consistent with versioning of releases across all products and and also one particular product family.


eg:
17.2.0 aspose.pdf
17.02.0 aspose.cells
17.4 aspose.pdf

It would be nice if it is consistent across the releases and across the product family

Recently we have standardized the version numbering of all APIs and going forward, all APIs being offered by Aspose will have standard naming convention i.e. Year.Month. We are sorry for this inconvenience.
