Hi,
When merging pdf documents, the the size of the resulting doc is much bigger than the original docs' sizes combined.
ie. merging a 8 kB doc with a 3 kB doc results in a 18 kB doc.
Why is this so? is there any way to reduce the size?

This problem is caused by the evaluation watermark. If you set licese this problem will disappear.

however the merged document contains only an additional header and footer copyright message, but no watermarks ( i.e. image in the middle )
2 additional text-lines would not explain an increase like thin in file size.
You are right. But in our test the copyright message do cause the file size problem. We are now trying to find the reason.
