Hi Jackie,

Thank you for writing to Aspose support team again.

I have tested the scenario again and observed that folders are not lost in the inbox as shown in the attached image. You may please test the scenario using latest library and if issue is not resolved, please share the images and other relevant info to observe the problem. We will provide assistance once the feedback is received.

Hi,

I had one of my developers create a video to demonstrate the test with the included files. you can download the video here:

Hi Jackie,

Thank you for sharing the sample files.

We were able to observe the issue at our end with the latest version of the API and have logged it as EMAILNET-38654 for further investigation by our Product team. We’ll update you here once there is some information or a fix version available in this regard.

Do you have any updates for this fix?

If it is not going to be resolved short term, could I change the ticket to a priority support ticket?

thanks

Hi,

Our Product team has investigated this issue further and found that it is not an issue with Aspose.Email API. In some directories of source files, the flag “PR_SUBFOLDERS” is set incorrectly. In addition, the flag “PR_CONTENT_COUNT” also contains incorrect values. That is, in fact, the directory contains subdirectories, but it has the flag “PR_SUBFOLDERS” equal to “false” due to which it is not showing up in Outlook. Thus, the merging is correct but due to the incorrect properties mentioned above, directories are displayed wrong in MS Outlook.
