Mering Document with If Statements

I am able to merge documents and pull data from our SQL database (via our web based appilcation). However, when I try to use an If Statement or an IFSKIP statement, word does not perform the logic.

For example: { If {Mergefield Title} " " "“Field is Blank” “{Mergefield Title}” } word will not display anything.

We are using Word 2003 and the website is written in .asp

Any ideas?

Thank you for considering Aspose.

IF fields are not processed until we implement the field evaluation engine. The only applicable idea in the meantime is to put all the necessary logic into the code. Is this possible?
