Migration ASP project from VS2008 to VS2010

Hi dears

We’ve developped a Web Site in classic ASP many years ago. We included the use of Aspose.Cells through COM in order to manage Excel files. It worked fine.

Lately we decided to migrate our VisualStudio Solution from VS2008 to VS2010. The wizard converted it and changed the .NET version to 4.0.

We use an old version of Aspose.Cells (4.1.2) and we’ve got the verson for .Net 1.0 and 2.0.

When we launch the page we get the following messsage : "The license is not valid for this product"

We tried to change the target framework in the solution to 2.0 but the error remains. We also tried to create an ASPX test page, the result is still the same.

We’re not sure the problem is bound to this migration but it sounds like.

Has anyone experienced this problem ? We will welcome any idea.

Regards

Hi,

Since you are using some older version of the product i.e. v4.1.2 for which we are not sure about it. By the way, except license if the product is working fine on VS.NET 2010 with net2.0 version of the product. The error you mentioned denotes that the license is invalid rather than any other thing, maybe you or somebody else has changed it a bit or you are not using the correct license file for your solution. Please make sure that you are using the correct license file with your Aspose.Cells for .NET version.

We have not found any such exception if we use the correct and valid license with the product.

Thank you.
