Missing documentation for API

Hello,

Do you have the latest API documentation for Aspose.Cells for Java?

For example, Workbook.open (InputStream in) is deprecated now and I suppose a new recommended method is Workbook.open (InputStream in, int i).

But I cannot find what the second parameter means.

Best regards, Evgeniy

Hi Evgeniy,

Thank you for using Aspose products.

You can find the latest documentation in the library archive when you download it from Aspose download section. Please get the latest version of Aspose.Cells for Java 8.0.1. Once extracted you will find the doc folder containing the HTML based documentation of Aspose.Cells for Java API. I have attached the aforesaid doc folder here as well for better elaboration.

Please note, all overloads of Workbook.open method have been marked depreciated. Instead, you should use the Workbook constructor to load an existing spreadsheet as demonstrated below.

Java

Workbook book = new Workbook(myDir + “sample.xlsx”);

Please also have a look at the Workbook constructor summary as follow,

Workbook()
Initializes a new instance of the Workbook class.
Workbook(int fileFormatType)
Initializes a new instance of the Workbook class.
Workbook(java.lang.String file)
Initializes a new instance of the Workbook class and open a file.
Workbook(java.io.InputStream stream)
Initializes a new instance of the Workbook class and open a stream.
Workbook(java.lang.String file, LoadOptions loadOptions)
Initializes a new instance of the Workbook class and open a file.
Workbook(java.io.InputStream stream, LoadOptions loadOptions)
Initializes a new instance of the Workbook class and open stream.
