Quick question - will Aspose components benefit if CPU has more cores? I am mainly converting documents from one format to the other or doing optimization like PDF compression.
Is document processing spread over available cores?
Please share some details on different file formats for which you need the conversion feature and concerning to PDF optimization, I am further looking into this area and will get back to you soon.
I have further discussed the scenario with product team and in order to use multiple cores, you need to run several applications at the same time or develop multi-threaded application. If you run single-threaded application, you will not get direct benefit (although most probably overall performance of the system will be higher. Though the operation system has lots of processes which are executed in background and take CPU time).
So you need to use our API’s in multi-threaded mode and when talking about server, we hope you meant to state physical server and its not related to application deployment server / web server.
