MS Project 2007

Hello Glyn,

Sorry for delay, I was waiting latest information from our developer.
It’s ready for about 75%. There are too many data properties to implement and
they take a lot of time. Also new public api is not documented yet.

Hi Alexey

Is there an alpha or beta version available?

I am wondering if the 75% you have done will cover our needs - we only touch a minor part of MS Project’s object model.

Also we have another ticket outstanding about predecessor links and it owuld be intersting to see if the 75% you have done covers that.

A beta would be so useful if you have one available.

TIA

Glyn

This is good news. We are also waiting for an Aspose Tasks release that supports MS Project 2007.

Hello Glyn,

I don’t think it will work without 25% of properties.
As soon as more or less working version will be ready I will publish it as beta.

Hi

It is now 4 months after the estimated release date.

Is this release ever going to happen?

TIA

MPMM

Hello,

Yes, it’s ready now and will be published on the next week.
There was a delay with timephased data implementation.

Hi Alexey

That's great news, MS Project 2007 support will be a major benefit for us.

MPMM

Alexey,

Can we get an update on the release date? The Project Interops are just so slow that it is hard to work with them.

It will be available for downloads tomorrow.
Sorry for delay, we were busy with Aspose.Slides.

Hello,

I published new version of Aspose.Tasks with MS Project 2007 support for public testing.
It’s available for download here.

API is changed very much so please read API Reference and short examples.

Can you please double-check the documentation? It looks like ti is from Tasks v 1. I don't see anything different in there.

Thanks,

Alan

Hello Alan,

Online documentation is not changed yet.
New API reference included to the zip with new version.
Programmers Guide also is not changed.
There are only several examples I wrote in the forum.

We are preparing new Programmers Guide now.
After we finish it Aspose.Tasks will be officially released.

By API reference, you are referring to the XML file that is embedded? I can then use SandCastle to work with it or just view in an XMl viewer?

Thanks,

Alan

I mean Aspose.Tasks.chm - compiled documentation.
