MSG IPM.Contact rendering to PDF or MTHML

Rendering of a contact (as an MSG) to MHT or PDF seems quite limited. Is there a preferred method for rendering one of these items which will include all of the MapiContact fields?


Currently it looks like it takes a MapiContact and renders it through the Email rendering engine, which leaves out most of the contact fields.

Thank you for posting your inquiry.

Could you please let us know what other properties do you want in output MHT? MapiContact has a lot of properties and we are not sure if all of them could be exported to MHT. If you could please mention only specific properties, we can discuss it further for implementation.

These would be our higher priority ones (if they exist for that contact):


getNameInfo(),
getEvents(),
getElectronicAddresses(),
getOtherFields(),
getPersonalInfo(),
getPhysicalAddresses(),
getProfessionalInfo(),
getTelephones()

Even just a Key -> Value dump of whatever fields are available? As i’m not sure which ones you can or cannot export.

Thank you for providing more information.

Currently there is no such option available which can be used to render all or selected properties of a contact in Mhtml file. I have logged an enhancement ticket under Id: EMAILJAVA-34241 for further investigation by the product team to analyze the option to provide control over this rendering. You will be automatically notified once any update is received in this regard.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as EMAILJAVA-34241) have been fixed in this update.
