MSG To PDF -> Embedded files are missing

Hello,

I want to convert MSG- to PDF-files.

It working so far but I noticed that, when the Mail was created in RTF format, embedded files are often missing.

I even printed the MSG to Tiff - with the same result.



(The attached files dont't matter because I convert the attached files to PDF as well and merge them to one PDF, which is working well)



I attached the original MSG, the printed TIFF and the resulting PDF (PDF/A 3B).

Can you please share your sample MSG file again? The attached file seems to be invalid as it’s size is 0 Bytes. Please re-attach your sample file so that we can investigate the issue for assisting you further. We have attached our sample MSG file here that we tested at our end and it is converted fine to MHTML. Also, please make sure that you are using the latest version of the API i.e. Aspose.Email for .NET 6.1.0.

pictures aren’t the problem. The problem occurs with OLE data.

Thank you for sharing the sample file.

Conversion of message to PDF doesn’t include regular attachments other than the inline images. Thus, it is an expected behavior that you have observed. Please feel free to write to us if you have any additional query related to the API.
