Multilingual Capability

Good day!

We are looking at using Aspose for creating pdfs. Right now we only have Aspose Word 2.2 version running on .NET 2.0.We tried to create a pdf (with "hello world") and it is creating a pdf successfully - without any formatting.

Questions:

1. Would like to know if this can generate pdf in the below listed16 languages, if we upgrade to the latest version of Aspose.word or do we definitely require Aspose.pdf?

2. What might be the limitations if we try to generate a pdf using Aspose.word?

3. Can we display .jpg images in the pdf being created?

Hi Vishakar,

Thanks for contacting support.

In case you need to convert a WORD file to PDF format which contains multi-language contents, you do not need to use Aspose.Pdf. Aspose.Words directly render Word files to PDF format. In case you encounter any issue, please share the resource DOC/Word file.

There should be no limitations when trying to render Word files to PDF format.

3. Can we display .jpg images in the pdf being created?
If your source/input Word file contains images, the images should render in resultant PDF.

Thank you for the reply!

We now have Aspose.pdf, please let me know if you support all the 16 languages listed above.

Also, can we create a pdf by passing a html page with other language content (e.g .chinese or any of the above listed langs) - i.e. send the html source code to Aspose pdf generator.

Please help!

Hi Vishakar,

Aspose.Pdf for .NET supports UniCode and all languages. Please try using our API and in case you encounter any issue during conversion, please share the source files (i.e. HTML etc) and code snippet so that we can test the conversion at our end.
