I get this same error with aspose.words, is this really just a warning or a showstopper ? I can’t generate the documents on my end though. Our process is we have template with merge fields and then merge data extract from datasource to merge fields.

Are you getting this problem when using Aspose.Words for Java 18.10 on your end? Please share the complete environment details (e.g. OS, JDK versions, JVM settings etc) of the machine you are getting this problem on. Thanks for your cooperation.
The issues you have found earlier (filed as WORDSJAVA-1939) have been fixed in this Aspose.Words for .NET 18.12 update and this Aspose.Words for Java 18.12 update.
