New exchange email event

Hi,

I would like to write a program for my company that gets realtime notifications of emails coming into an exchange mailbox, like an event being fired.
Thanks
Mark

Hi Mark,

Thank you for your inquiry.

We are currently looking into it to provide you a feasible solution for your requirement.

Hi Mark,

I am afraid, currently there is no direct way of detecting new messages on Exchange Server. You have to implement your own custom logic that will trigger at X mins and retrieve messages from Exchange Server. You can use the overloaded method ListMessages(string folder, MailQuery query, bool recursive) from ExchangeClient and ExchangeWebServiceClient classes to specify the date of message >= some_date in the query argument.

Please also check the below linked technical article,
