NullPointerException is Thrown when Using addClone Method

1. I copied the “C:\Windows\Fonts” folder somewhere else, and then tried to load it with

String [] dirs = {"D:\\Users\\KR45743\\Desktop\\myfonts"};
FontsLoader.loadExternalFonts(dirs);

I get the following exception:

I tried several names for the folder and I moved it to several locations, but the result is always the same.

“The specified path is empty” error is thrown in Aspose.Slides if a path to the font folder is empty. Please add a new folder to your project root folder (“fonts”, for example) and try to load fonts like this:

FontsLoader.loadExternalFonts(new String[] {"./fonts"});

If you get the same result, please share a simple standalone project with a code example reproducing the problem.

We are sure that the problem is specific to your app environment. Please check the relative path as shown above for investigating this case and share the results. This can clarify the access problem. If the issue persists, please share the simple standalone project.

I put the “fonts” directory inside the project and tried to load it with

FontsLoader.loadExternalFonts(new String[] {"./fonts"});

Nothing changes, I still get the same error “The specified path is empty”

Because I am forbidden from copying fonts out of the system because of (idiotic) company rules, the ./fonts directory is empty. In any case, I get the error message “The specified path is empty” whether the directory is empty or not, so I don’t think the problem is with the font files themselves.
NB On my home system (Windows 10) the project runs flawlessly with this output:

Aspose slides version is: 21.8
Number of files = 0
End of the program

On my work system (the one I really care about) it raises com.aspose.slides.exceptions.ArgumentException as described in my previous messages.
If standard Java can access the folder without problems, why aspose can’t?

@Andrey_Potapov Thanks a lot for the new library and sorry for the late reply.
Using it the Exceptions in my small test programs do go away, so that is a very good sign! Alas, the real (large) application still crashing during the production of the PowerPoint file. I’ll identify where the problem now is and I’ll report back.
