Numbered List indent different from original when AppendDocument

hi… I tried to append a document to a new document but the list number indent is different from original file on last page… i’m not sure why that particular list is different but other list is ok.

this is my code

p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 11.0px Monaco} p.p2 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 11.0px Monaco; color: #3933ff} p.p3 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 11.0px Monaco; min-height: 15.0px} span.s1 {color: #931a68} span.s2 {color: #000000} span.s3 {color: #0326cc} span.Apple-tab-span {white-space:pre}

Document baseDoc = new Document();

Document subDoc = new Document("/Users/zulhalimi/1120.docx");

baseDoc.appendDocument(subDoc, ImportFormatMode.KEEP_SOURCE_FORMATTING);

String myFile = "/Users/zulhalimi/merge.docx";

I'm using the latest version 17.3.0
p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 11.0px Monaco; color: #3933ff} p.p2 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 11.0px Monaco} span.s1 {color: #000000} span.Apple-tab-span {white-space:pre}

Hi there,

Thanks for your patience. It is to inform you that the issue which you are facing is actually not a bug in Aspose.Words. So, we have closed this issue (WORDSNET-15041) as ‘Not a Bug’.

Aspose.Words creates new blank document from the template of Word 2003. It contains CompatibilityOptions.DoNotUseIndentAsNumberingTabStop option set to true by default. This option forces to ignore hanging indent when creating TabStop after numbering.

Please use one of the following line before saving the document to get the desired output.

<pre style=“background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); font-family: “Courier New”; font-size: 9pt;”>baseDoc.getCompatibilityOptions().setDoNotUseIndentAsNumberingTabStop(false);
