Hi,
Thanks for considering Aspose.
We have tested Aspose.Cells on Microsoft Office (Excel) 2016 and it worked quite well. So Aspose.Cells does support Office 2016.
Is there anything that can be shared on this yet? Are Words and Slides still being worked on for Office 2016?
Hi Phillip,
Yes, our product teams are working on Aspose.Words and Aspose.Slides. We will update you as soon as the issues are fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi,
May i know what’s the least version to support MS Office 2016?

Hello,
We are also interested in Office 2016 support. Do you have any updates on Words and Slides?
Hi,
Hi Atsuo,
Thank you for your prompt reply. How about Aspose.Sildes? Thank you, Atsuo
Hi Atsuo,
Hi Aspose team,
suppose this scenario:
- I open document generated with Office 2016
- make change in area that is supported (for example, hyperlink)
- save document again using Aspose components
Will document still work meaning change will be there and new Office 2016 generated content will stay (you are not going to remove it)? Nothing will be gone?
Thanks,
Oliver
@dr_oli,
Thank you for the inquiry. You are right that the supported feature will work and the change will remain in the output of Office 2016 document. However, if you come across any such scenario where the API does not work as expected, then send us the complete details of the use case. We will investigate and share our findings with you.
Best Regards,
Imran Rafique
@dr_oli,
The issues you have found earlier (filed as WORDSNET-12458) have been fixed in this Aspose.Words for .NET 17.10 update and this Aspose.Words for Java 17.10 update.
Hi,
May i know what’s the least version to support MS Office word 2016?
Thanks for contacting support.
The complete support of MS Office Word 2016 is provided in current release of Aspose.Words for .NET 17.10. However, a partial support of word 2016 document was provided in version 17.3 and in case you need to use older version, you may consider using Aspose.Words for .NET 17.3.
Hi ,
Thanks for your quick response. We have license for using free upgrades until 24 March 2011, but we want to use Aspose.Word 17.10 for full support of MS Office word 2016. We need developers/test license for testing/Dvelopment purpose, After successful testing we will purchase actual license. Please provide developers/test license for Aspose.Word 17.10.
Thanks!
Thanks for sharing the details.
