Opening and saving a file with conditional formatting failes

Hello,

We’ve discovered a pretty serious issue with a file using conditional formatting. The steps required to reproduce this issue are described in the attached test console application.

Basically, on the attached ConditionalFormatting.xlsx file we tried to:
- copy the Range using conditional formatting into another Range in a separate destination Workbook; here it crashes when trying to save the destination Workbook
- save the original file back - here it crashes as well - it seems the previous CopyRange/CopyData calls somehow altered the original file as well.

Please provide us some feedback.

Aspose.Cells version is 7.3.0.0.

Thanks in advance,

Hi,

Thanks for providing us the sample project.

After an initial test, I can find the issue by running your project with v7.3.0.3. The core exception is “Object Reference not set to an instance …”. I have logged a ticket for your issue with an id: CELLSNET-40937. We will look into it soon.

Thank you.
