Opening workbook containing invalid data link creates corrupt file when saved

I have an Excel document “a.xls” containing a link to another Excel document “b.xls” found on the creators local machine that is not accessible when “a.xls” has been moved. When opening “a.xls” in Excel a warning is shown regarding the invalid link to a path that does not exist from the current location “H:\docs\b.xls”.

When Aspose reads “a.xls” it throws no errors. Formatting changes can be made to “a.xls” and Aspose saves it as a new file “a_new.xls”. But if I try to open “a_new.xls” again using Aspose or Excel an exception is thrown as the file is corrupt.

How do I remove or ignore links to other documents when processing an Excel workbook using Aspose?

Thank you.
