I’m using Adobe Designer 7.0 and I’m playing with your evaluation version of Aspose.pdf.form
I’m trying to change textfields in a form. With the fillfield function. Internally this seems to work because if I do a getfield I get the string I put in there. However when I save the document en stream it to the browser, there is nog fields filled in the PDF. Do i need a licence to try out this functionality?
Thanks for considering Aspose.Pdf.Form.
Just as you said, this is a bug that when you use the pdf created by Adobe Designer 7.0, it will not display properly in 7.0 but just well in 6.0.
We are just working for this and hope to solve it at early July.
Thanks for the info. I tried using Adobe 6 reader to checkout the streamed PDF’s but this also will not display the fields. I’t also claimes that the PDF is created using a new format which is not supported, I sould upgrade Adobe is it’s recommendation.
Maybe some advanced fields can’t be displayed. Which kind of font did you use?
Some new font is not well compatible with the 6.0. When we solved the compatibility of 6.0 and 7.0, it will be ok.
