Page gets background property when saving as .vdx

We have the .vsd file attached to this post which contains 2 pages. When we open this with Aspose.Diagram and then save this as .vdx, the first page is lost when we open it again in Visio (2013).
It appears the Background property of the page is set on this page by Aspose.Diagram, and background pages are not shown in Visio.

I tested this with the latest Aspose.Diagram (5.5.0).

This was not a problem in the previous version we used (4.1.0)

Can you reproduce and solve this issue?

Kind regards,
Robert Wielink

Hi Robert,

Thank you for posting a problematic Visio diagram in the forum. You’re right. We managed to replicate the problem of page background setting. It has been logged under ticket id DIAGRAMNET-50528 in our issue tracking system. Your post has also been linked to this issue. We’ll let you know once a significant progress has been made in this regard.

As a workaround, please use this sample code:

[.NET, C#]
// load diagram
Diagram dgm = new Diagram(@“C:\AD\test459\Proces page gets hidden.vsd”);
// set page background property
dgm.Pages[0].Background = BOOL.False;
// save in the VDX format
dgm.Save(@“C:\AD\test459\Aspose_Output.vdx”, SaveFileFormat.VDX);
