PDF/A_1b conversion fails with several documents

Aspose PDF 9.1.0.0

Hi,

I can not convert the attached document to a valid PDF/A_1B. I have a lot of such documents that fails. Converting with Ghostscript works.

Best regards,

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for your inquiry. I am afraid we are unable to notice the reported issue while testing the scenario with Aspose.Pdf for .NET 9.1.0. Please note we have used Preflight option of Adobe to verify the compliance. Can you please share some more details to replicate the issue i.e. environment details?

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Best Regards,

The conversion fails completely… Log is attached.

With regards,

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for sharing the details.

I have tested the scenario and have observed that while converting PDF to PDF/A_1b, there are many issues/errors in log file and therefore the resultant file is not saved. However when using Document.Save(…) method out of If-End If block, the resultant file is being saved which is PDF/A_1b compliant as per Adobe Acrobat 10.1.1. For the sake of further investigation, I
have logged this problem as PDFNEWNET-36824 in our issue tracking
system. We will further look into the details of this problem and will keep you
updated on the status of correction. Please be patient and spare us little
time. We are sorry for this inconvenience.
