Dear ladies and gentlemen,

In our application we create PDF-files for storing them in an archive.

Currently we use the Aspose conversion in PDF/A-1b.

The future requirements demand a PDF/A-3 conversion and the embedding of xml-files.

Do you plan the implementation of the PDF/A-3 standard and if it is so, what is the estimated release date?

Best regards,

Hi Oliver,

Thanks for contacting support.

I am afraid currently Aspose.Pdf for .NET does not support the feature to save the output in PDF/A-3 format. However, we already have logged the requirement of converting PDF to PDF/A-3 format with compliance-level (3a, 3b, 3u) as PDFNEWNET-36686 in our issue tracking system under New Features list. Also please note that the requirement to insert XMP file as Metada into the converted PDF/A-3 is separately logged as PDFNEWNET-36687. I am afraid currently we are not certain about the timelines by which these features will be supported. However, as soon as we have made some definite progress towards their implementation, we would be more than happy to update you with the status of correction.

Please be patient and spare us little time. We are sorry for this inconvenience.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as PDFNEWNET-36686) have been fixed in Aspose.Pdf for .NET 10.6.0.
