Performance Degradation with export using Aspose.Words 19.9

@dgulick,

Thanks for your inquiry. We are in coordination with team to get answer pertaining to your queries. Soon, you will be updated with the required information.

@dgulick,

Regarding WORDSJAVA-2279, it is to update you that we have made the following improvements.

  1. The number of Ref objects created was reduced significantly
  2. Coping of resources (images, brushes, styles etc) was improved
  3. Loading of documents was improved.

That’s great to hear, Awais, thank you for the additional detail. So I’m able to set expectations with my team, should we expect performance/memory allocation in the sample tests we’ve given you and/or our application to be at the level we were seeing with 16.7? Thank you for all the help.

@dgulick,

Yes, you can expect performance/memory allocation at the level you were seeing with 16.7 (at least for the cases you had provided us). On our end, it works even faster than 16.7 but it would be great if you please measure yourself and share the results with us after when the next version of Aspose.Words for Java will be released in the next few days.

That’s excellent, thank you. We will definitely run the new version through our tests and let you know our results.
