Pink thumbnail when exporting slide containing Excel

Hi,

When creating a thumbnail of the slide contained in this presentation it comes out as a pink square? The Slide contains an Excel diagram.

If the presentation is converted into PowerPoint 2003 the thumbnail is generated correctly by Aspose. The Excel diagram object is still present in 2003 and is not converted into an image by PowerPoint itself.

Hi,

I have been able to observe the pink background appearing in the generated slide thumbnail and it seems to be an issue with Aspose.Slides for .NET. An issue with ID 13292 has already been created in our issue tracking system for resolution of this issue. This thread has also been linked with the same issue, so that you may be automatically notified, once the issue is resolve. As a work around, you may please use slide thumbnail in PNG format.

To you have an estimated release date for the pink box issue when it comes to Excel and SmartArt in 2007?

If not we will have to go ahead and implement a workaround, any info would be helpfull.

Hi Christer,

I like to share that we are working on SmartArt rendering support. The feature is planed to be provided in upcoming version of Aspose.Slides for .NET 5.5.0, which is expected to released during first week of August 2011. We really appreciate your patience till that time.
