Are there any plans to add support for Powerpoint 2003 animations?

PowerPoint 2003 animation will be supported after the support of PP2007 file format, which will be completed near the end of summer.
My boss was looking for an update on this. Any idea when you might start work on PowerPoint 2003 animation?
Still hoping for an update. Even if it is to say you are not working on animation, that’s fine. Just curious as to what’s going on.
