Powerpoint Output does not retain table structure from SSRS report

Hi

We downloaded the trial version of ASPOSE as we need to produce Powerpoint slides from Reporting Services. Everything in the output (PPT) is fine except we need to be able to copy the tables (data) to EXCEL where the user does further manipulation.

In the ASPOSE Powerpoint output, you are only able to copy individual cells to EXCEL.
See attached Powerpoint sample reports.

  1. Ideal Powerpoint Output.ppt = What we would like the Ppoint output to look like.
  2. Aspose PPT output from Reporting Services.pptx = ASPOSE Ppoint output.

Thanks for your interest in Aspose.Slides.

Please accept my apologies for the delayed response. I have observed the issue shared by you. Actually, it is not an issue with Aspose.Slides and the behavior that you have observed is absolutely correct. unfortunately the functionality of PowerPoint's tables is not enough for correct reports exporting. So, each cell is exported as separate shape. Please visit this forum thread for your further reference. Hope it resolves your issue.
