Hi, I am noticing inconsistent quality on Power Point documents depending on the platform. I have documents that convert flawlessly on Mac OS, but have problems (misplaced/overlaid text, etc) on Linux. I tried switching from OpenJDK to the Sun JDK but this doesn’t seem to help either. I’ve attached an example file. That has issues on the 5th and 7th pages.

I have observed the comments shared by you and have also observed the generated output. As per your comments that there is no issue while exporting presentation to PDF in MAC but have issue in Linux and also by observing the PDF, the issue clearly seems to be of missing fonts in your Linux environment. Since, used font is missing in Linux, the text on slides 5 and 7 is rendered with default font. I request you to install all fonts in your presentation on Linux or you can even copy them and load them externally without even installing them. I hope the shared information will be helpful.
