Presentations Generated in C# Are Showing as Corrupted in Powerpoint for Mac

PPT created using Aspose Slides.NET 22.9.0 version are showing as corrupted in PowerPoint for MAC version 16.77.

Please share the following additional files and information:

  • code example that generates the presentation
  • output presentation file
  • OS version on which the code was executed
  • .NET target platform in your app
  • We have re-visited the scenario and found that, the presenation slides on which charts were plotted, were not getting loaded correctly on powerpoint for mac V16.77.

  • Currently, we are using licensed Aspose.Net.Slides V22.9.0 with target framework. NetCore 5.0

  • Reported issue is not getting observed with Aspose.Net.Slides V23.9.0 with target framework. NetCore 5.0

Attaching a sample code and two presentation output files (V22.9, V23.9). V22.9 is the non-working one.

  • OS version on which the code was executed: Windows Server 2019 Datacenter V1809.

We recommend using the latest version of Aspose.Slides for .NET. The version 22.9 will no longer be updated. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Thanks for the timely revert.
We are not looking for any new features from latest version of Aspose Slides for .NET only bug fix for the issue we are experiencing, and the pricing states that the license would cost around $999, what other provisions Aspose Provides only for the bug fixes, as the breaking changes got introduced with updates in Powerpoint and no other breaking changes are part of the development.
Do you have a different licensing model for such scenarios?
