Prevent text wrapping in a cell

Is there a way to prevent text from wrapping in a table cell and limiting the text shown to the width specified?

I am afraid the requested feature is not supported. However for the sake of correction, I have logged this requirement as PDFJASPER-33111 in our issue tracking system.
