Print on the server

I’ve read a few posts about printing on the server.
At one stage it has been mentioned that the default printer feature might be available by March / Apr 2006.
Somewhere else the ASPOSE crew suggested to use the Word Viewer (BETA) to print.

I’m not sure if any of the above suggestions will introduce the necessary functionality I need:
- Choose printer
- Choose tray
- Choose colour/bw printing
- Choose duplex/simplex
- Choose Positionoffset

Thanks for any feedback

Printer options are now available via DocumentRenderer.PrinterSettings property which represents standard .NET System.Drawing.Printing.PrinterSettings class.

Thats fantastic!!!

Big thanks

We are happy to tell you that the new Rendering Engine has replaced the “old Viewer Beta”. The Rendering Engine can print, save as images or draw onto .NET Graphics object any document page.

Please see Aspose.Words documentation to learn more about new features.

Saving to image

In additional, new Rendering engine allows you to convert Word document to PDF directly (without using Aspose.Pdf).

Saving to Pdf

The latest version of Aspose.Words is available for download from downloads section or from NuGet

When will the Rendering Engine be available in the Java version? Cheers!

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for your request. I cannot provide you any reliable estimate at the moment. Hopefully, this feature will be available in second half of this year. However, I cannot promise anything on this stage.

Best regards.
