Printing Word Document using Aspose.Words.Java

We have purchased the Word product for Java. Can you let us know when is the functionality for printing word documents to the printer would be available?

Thanks for your inquiry. Currently we are working on synchronizing Java and .NET versions of Aspose.Words. Once we finish this work all functionality which is supported in, NET version will be supported in Java version, including printing. Your request has been linked to the appropriate issue. Please expect a reply before next hotfix (within 4-5 weeks). We might just fix the problem or provide you more information.

Is there any update on this? We are at a point where we can actually use this print functionality. Is there any hot fix/patch that can be delivered for us to use this functionality?

Thanks for your request. Unfortunately, the issue still unresolved. Most likely, this feature will be supported somewhere in May of this year. Also, it is not our common practice to provide custom builds/fixes.

Thanks for your request. We are still working on synchronizing of .NET and Java version of Aspose.Words and unfortunately the release date of Aspose.Words for Java has been moved to the second half of August 2010. You will be notified once it is released.

We have noticied the new release 4.0.3 Aspose words for Java. Does this release include the printing functionality of word document?

Thanks for your inquiry. No, this release does not include printing functionality. This feature will be available in Java version once we finish our work on synchronizing .NET and Java versions of Aspose.Words. You can learn more about our progress here:

The issues you have found earlier (filed as WORDSJAVA-2) have been fixed in this .NET update and in this Java update.
