In attachment a simple demo program with the problem. MergedCells.zip (78.5 KB)
Workflow implemented in demo to reproduce the problem:
Crete 2 Tables (ListObjectCollection)
Under both tables placed merged cells
The merged cells under first table has been filled with some text
The merged cells under second table left empty
Both tables has been filled with some values, so that tables has been expanded (by using listObjects.PutCellValue(…))
Open result xlsx file and check content
Result: by try to open file a message, that file content has been broken, by recovery a file the second table is broken, but first table has been handled correctly
Could you fix please the behavior in future releases? So that behavior of second table is the same as by first table
@ILVO
By using the sample code to test on the latest version v24.6, we can reproduce the issue. Discovered that the result file is corrupted when expanding a table with placed empty merged cells under the table.
