When generating PowerPoint files via Presentation.Write(), with either overload, we are running into a problem trying to view those files PowerPoint 2004 for Mac OS X. The documents display with the correct number of slides, the correct master slide, but no data in each slide.
We’ve tried commenting out lines of code to see if we could narrow it down to a specific piece of code. Eventually, we commented out code until we were left with nothing more than:
Could you please provide more additional information, for example original presentation. Since we currently don’t have Mac OS X for testing and attached presentation works fine in PowerPoint 2003-2007, it would be great if you provide also screenshots of slides without data and masters opened in Office 2004 for Mac.
Unfortunately we couldn’t find the roots of the problem yet. PowerPoint error messages never provide any useful information so the only way is slow investigation of every byte in a presentation. Can I ask you to help with testing on Mac OS X? Could you please try the latest version of Aspose.Slides available here and several old versions available in the downloads? In case some of them will provide readable presentation on Mac OS X then it can help us a lot with finding the real issue.
