Hello, I'm having trouble insttalling the latest version of aspose.slides for reporting services with the latest .msi (I believe version 5.1.1) relesed Decenber 18, 2014), disabled the 2010 and 2012 Data tools install options and the software installed successfully. However, the rendering extension did not show up when trying to render the report in SSRS Native Mode. I tried re-starting my local SSRS Instance and rebooting, but the option still does not show up.
Next, I tried installing with the manual instructions (moving the *.dll to the reporting services folder and making changes to the SSRS rsreportserver.config and rssvrpolicy.config files),but my local report server didn't come up, so I had to roll-back those changes.
Technical details:
Trying to install (trial) Aspose.Slides.ReportingServices on local SSRS 2012 Native mode instance. I would like to test to see if demo version works properly for export to *.pptx, but no luck installing the rendering extensions so far.

Hi Kurt,
Our development team has further checked your issue and share the updated “rssrvpolicy.config” file. Please download and try the attached file at your end and let us know if it resolves your issue.
Thanks & Regards,
Hello,
I used your updated rssrvpolicy.config file and tried installing the first time and I got an error telling me that I would need to install the file manually as described online. However, after that error, I tried again and opted for the "repair" opion. After selecting the repair option, the install seemed to work successfully and the aspose slides software installed properly.
Thank you! Now, I can test out the software to see if it will meet our reporting needs.
Can you please tell me what changes were made in the rssvrpolicy file?
Kurt H
Hi Kurt,
Thank you for the feedback.
I am glad to know that you were able to install Aspose.Slides for Reporting Services properly at your end. The issue in the configuration file was the position of the GroupCode tag of Aspose.Slides for Reporting Services. To avoid this mistake it is recommended to collapse all CodeGroup tags and insert Aspose tag after last correct CodeGroup tag (after SharePoint_Server_Strong_Name or after Analisys_Server_Strong_Name group).
Please feel free to contact support in case you need any further assistance.
Thanks & Regards,
The issues you have found earlier (filed as SLIDESREP-33433) have been fixed in this update.
