I have trouble opening this document with Aspose.Words. It works fine from MS Word 2002.
I am using version 3.6.1 of Aspose.Words.
An unhandled exception of type 'Aspose.Words.PleaseReportException' occurred in aspose.words.dll

Thanks for reporting this error to us. I have reproduced it and logged to our defect base as issue #1093. We will try to fix it in the next release which will be published in 2-3 weeks.

The issue is fixed in Aspose.Words 4.0 beta. This version is fully tested and is generally compliant with the previous versions with the exception of several minor changes to the API which does not break functionality but may require some changes to the already existing code.
