Problems with wordwrapping

Hi,

Attached you will find a zip file containing a word file and a thumbnail generated by Aspose.word. please note the middle textblock section in the doc file and how the other text wordwraps around it. in the thumbnail that wordwrapping isn’t occurring. This seems like a bug and hopefully you can reproduce?

Hi

Thanks for your request. I managed to reproduce the problem on my side. Your request has been linked to the appropriate issue. You will be notified as soon as it is resolved. The problem occurs because you use floating textbox. Currently Aspose.Words does not support text wrapping around floating objects. The only way to work the problem around, I can suggest you at the moment, is refactoring your document to avoid using floating TextBoxes.

Best regards,

You mentioned that this has been linked to appropriate issue. what is the issue id and is there an eta on when you might address this issue?

thanks,

Kirk

Hello

Thanks for your request. The issue number is 7180. Unfortunately, currently, this issue still unresolved, and I cannot provide you any reliable estimate regarding this. Text wrapping is very complex feature. Most likely, this feature will be supported somewhere in the first half of the next year.

Best regards,

Hello

We are happy to tell you that a very cool and important feature (filed as 7180) is included in the new version of Aspose.Words. Text wrapping around images and shapes when rendering Microsoft Word documents to PDF, XPS and printing is now supported. You can download the latest version from here.
